Please note: Credits are refundable upon request within 7 days after the festival, before being considered as donations and reinvested in the association’s projects. You can request a refund for remaining credits from June 2 to 8, 2025, via nuits-sonores.com/cashless or directly from the Nuits sonores 2025 mobile app.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Once you have created an account, you will be able to:
— Charge online before the festival and avoid extra queues when collecting your cashless card on entry to the festival’s ticketed sites
— Top up your credit throughout the festival via our website, without needing to queue at the cashless points
— Check your card balance and transaction history at any time, and edit your invoices
— Save your bank card to make topping up quicker and easier
— Block your cashless card in the event that it is lost or stolen, and transfer the existing balance to a new card
— Request the refund of any remaining money within 7 days at the end of the festival
Creating an account is optional and can be done at any time.
To create an account, you must already have a ticket* for Nuits sonores 2025 or have purchased a cashless card.
For technical reasons beyond our control, it is not possible to reuse cashless cards from previous years at Nuits sonores 2025.
If you already have a ticket, click on “create an account” at the top of this page and enter the number found under the barcode on your ticket. Then follow the instructions to charge your cashless card and it will be ready for you when you scan your ticket to enter the festival.
If you have created an account linked to your ticket, you can collect your precharged card:
— At the entrance of one of the festival's ticketed events, without needing to queue at the cashless points
The first time you charge your card, a €1 activation fee will be deducted from your account. You can request the refund of any remaining cash on your account within 7 days of the end of the festival; after that time, that money will be considered to be donations and reinvested by the association.
If you haven’t created an account before you get to the festival, the cashless card you will receive can only be charged using cash or a bank card. You can then create an account at any time by visiting the festival website.
Once your account is created, there are two means to top your card up during the festival:
— On the Nuits sonores 2025 App
— On the festival's website or by flashing the QR code on your cashless card
— At the cashless points.
You can charge your account as many times as you want, before and during the event.
If you have created an account, you can access your balance and transaction history on the festival's App & website. You can also ask for it at the cashless point or at the the bars, restaurants and merchandising shops.
Invoices can be issued from your cashless account.
You can request to be reimbursed with any remaining credit on your card from 08:00 on 2 June 2025. This operation is free of charge. Simply sign into your account and check that the correct balance is showing. You will then be able to request a refund and enter your bank account details for the transfer.
If your balance does not appear, check that your card is linked to your account by clicking on the “Add Chip” button just below the email address in place of the six-letter card number.
It is possible to request the refund of your remaining credit from 2 June until 8 June 2025.
Please note: The refund request does not mean an automatic transfer. It may take 1 to 3 business days after June 9, 2025, for the refund to be processed and credited to your bank account.
Nuits sonores offers the opportunity to support charities (SOS Méditerranée, Odysseus 3.1, and the Arty Farty Fund) by donating part or all of your remaining balance when requesting your cashless refund.
→ SOS Méditerranée helps people risking their lives by attempting to cross the Mediterranean. More than 41,000 people have been rescued since 2016. Your donations help the Ocean Viking, the humanitarian ship, continue to save lives at sea.
→ Odysseus 3.1 is an environmental NGO dedicated to the preservation of natural habitats, particularly aquatic, lacustrine, glacial, and marine environments. It works through exploration, scientific research, and passing on knowledge to future generations.
You can ask for your card to be blocked at the cashless points on the festival sites.
The remaining balance will be transferred on a new card.
NO ACCOUNT CREATION
(not recommended)
You can collect your card at the following places:
— At the cashless points located on the ticketed festival sites.
The cashless card you will receive can only be charged using cash or a bank card.
You can only top up your credit at the cashless points. You cannot top up on the website if you have not created an account.
You can ask for your balance at the cashless points and at the bars, restaurants and merchandising shops.
You will not be able to access your transaction history and issue invoices if you have not created an account.
You cannot get a refund if you have not created an account.
You will still be able to create an account within 7 days after the festival by using your card number (6 letters). In this instance, you will only need this number (and not the barcode on your festival ticket).
We are not able to block your card if you have not created an account beforehand. This is why we strongly advise that you create an account.
— The minimum amount that can be charged on your card is 5€
— You can pay for an order by using divers cards
— You can check your remaining balance on the festival's website (if you have created an account) or at the bars, restaurants and festival merchandising shops
— No cards from the previous editions will be accepted or exchanged
— Reusable cup deposits/returns will be debited/credited to your cashless card directly from the bars when paying for your drinks
— Cash and credit/debit cards will not be accepted at the bars, restaurants and merchandising shops at La Sucrière and the Fagor factories,
— There is no minimum or maximum limit for a transaction, as long as there are sufficient credits for payment
— Cashless cards from previous editions or other festivals will not be accepted at Nuits sonores

It is possible to request the refund of your remaining credit from 13 May until 23:59 on 19 May 2024.
Please note: requesting a refund does not mean that you will immediately be reimbursed. It will take between 1 and 3 working days from 20 May 2024 for the funds to reach your bank account.
Nuits sonores offers to support non-for-profits (Secours populaire Fédération du Rhône and the Fonds Arty Farty) by making a partial or total donation of your remaining balance when you request your cashless refund.
You do not need a card! Your RFID wristband serves as access control and digital purse during Nuits sonores 2024 on all of the festival sites (at bars, restaurants and merchandising shops).
Creating a cashless account is nevertheless mandatory. The login to create this account will be sent to you by email with the confirmation of your accreditation. You will then just have to follow the instructions to credit your RFID bracelet.
You have to use a cashless card to pay at all the bars, restaurants and merchandising shops on the Nuits sonores ticketed sites.
Use your invitation barcode to create a cashless account and follow the instructions to charge your card. See "Create an account" for the steps to follow. If you do not wish to create an account, see "No account creation" for the steps to follow.
