Nuits sonores 2024 : review

Thank you

Surprise, always.
This 21st edition undoubtedly marked a decisive milestone in the festival's history! For five nights and five days, we vibrated together in a spirit of celebration, curiosity, and reflection. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us: artists, speakers, collectives, venues, teams, volunteers, and partners.

But we especially want to thank you, because Nuits sonores is also and above all about you, the 108,000 faces that illuminated the 25 venues of this edition. A joyful, open, respectful, kind, and curious audience, who immortalized the entry into this third decade of a beautiful collective effervescence spread throughout the city.

Together, we danced, thought, cried tears of joy, and loved sharing unforgettable moments...

See you at the end of May 2025 for the 22nd edition of Nuits sonores and Nuits sonores Lab!

NuitS sonores x Studio Lamadone

For its 21st edition, Nuits sonores has initiated a special collaboration with Studio Lamadone to capture the essence of the festival. A carte blanche was given to five Lyon-based filmmakers, allowing them to create five unique capsules. Each capsule revisits a day of the festival through the artistic perspective of: Augure Augure, Enzo Saintloup, Unexplored Fields, Basile Deschamps, and Lorsbach.

These capsules offer an immersive view into the atmosphere and highlights of this edition, each reflecting the style and sensibility of its director.

In addition to overseeing this project, Studio Lamadone created a sixth capsule illustrating the festival's preparation as an introduction to the series, as well as a global film highlighting the key moments and shared experiences in an overview of Nuits sonores 2024.
