MC Waraba & Furie Soundsystem (live)

Malian rapper MC Waraba and the Franco-Brazilian duo Furie have come together for a project influenced by the sound system culture of Abidjan. MC Waraba, a pioneer of the Balani Show style and a key figure in the Malian music scene, joined the Blanc Manioc label for the Nyamakala Beats mixtape and released his new album Club Dunia last June. Behind the Furie collective and label are DJs and producers Pedro Bertho and Patxi, well-known figures in the Lyon scene, who blend tropical rhythms, techno, house, reggae, Italo disco, and other electronic selections.
