The legend is making his highly anticipated return to Nuits sonores for the Closing Day!

An iconic figure of Detroit techno, Jeff Mills began his career in 1984 as a DJ on WDRQ radio. As a co-founder of the Underground Resistance collective, he helped establish the group as a major force in electronic music. In 1992, he launched his own label, Axis, asserting his artistic independence and producing timeless compositions. Fascinated by science fiction, Mills also left his mark on the cinematic world with an original score for Fritz Lang's Metropolis in 2000.

Alongside his intense DJ career, he transcends disciplines by collaborating in the realms of contemporary art and classical music. With a discography that has shaped the history of the genre, with hundreds of releases including albums and EPs, and always on the cutting edge, Jeff Mills is far more than just a DJ and producer: he is a sonic explorer, a visionary who fuses technology, music, and art in a constant quest for innovation.

His sets, marked by impressive technical precision and captivating intensity, weave stories driven by raw atmospheric energy and a hypnotic groove.
