A father and his son arrive at a remote rave deep in the mountains of southern Morocco. They are searching for Mar — daughter and sister — who disappeared several months earlier at one of these endless parties. Immersed in electronic music and a raw freedom foreign to them, they tirelessly hand out her photo. Hope fades, but they persist and follow a group of ravers to one last party in the desert. As they venture deeper into the burning vastness, the journey confronts them with their own limits.

Artist Kangding Ray, who composed the film’s original score, reflects on his creative process following the screening.
For nearly twenty years, David Letellier, aka Kangding Ray, a French artist based in Berlin, has developed a distinctive techno aesthetic where ambient and avant-garde sounds meet hypnotic textures and futuristic rhythms. His prolific output forms a rich discography, expanded in 2025 with the soundtrack for Sirāt, Jury Prize winner at the Cannes Film Festival, which brought him global recognition along with numerous nominations and awards. While he has performed on the dancefloors of the world’s biggest techno clubs, his work also enters galleries and museums through striking sound installations, making him one of the most innovative voices in the contemporary electronic scene.
