It has become increasingly hard to ignore the distinctive new sound offering a blend of heady Italo melodies and the dark kicks of new beat and EBM. Two of the Frenchmen that have stood at the forefront of this hybrid genre – aptly named Italo body music – are Kendal, boss of the Ritmo Fatale label, and Pablo Bozzi, renowned both as a solo artist and as one half of the duo Phase Fatale (Soft Crash). Working together under the alias Infravision, the duo behind the Illegal FutureEP (2021, Fleisch Records) will ensure that our Closing Day reaches a memorable climax.
