Special concert — Kali Malone (live electronic)

Thursday 14 May
Chapelle de la Trinité
18:30
ouverture de la billetterie à venir

Originally from Colorado, Kali Malone moved to Stockholm in 2012 and now splits her time between Sweden and Paris. She develops music that is patient, rigorous, and profoundly immersive, guided by a strong clarity of vision. Her work is built on evolving harmonic cycles and unique tuning systems, which allow latent emotional resonances to emerge. By freeing herself from expectations of duration, narrative, or climax, she creates a listening space conducive to reflection and contemplation.

Her solo works, crafted in minimalist forms, blend analog and digital synthesis with acoustic instruments such as organ, strings, winds, or choir. Extended and repetitive in duration, these rich and refined harmonic textures generate a listening depth that is both captivating and unsettling. Kali Malone’s music, intentionally bare and stripped-down, resembles a sacred modal communion with sound, space, and the self, where everything is revealed and nothing needs to be implied.

Kali Malone will perform her electronic live set at Nuits sonores 2026, as part of a Special Concert at La Trinité, a stage dedicated to baroque and irregular music.
