Rocío Mateo-Sagasta is the Coordinator of Music and Audiovisuals at La Casa Encendida, a leading social and cultural center in Madrid. For over nine years, she has been dedicated to designing and coordinating innovative, diverse, and accessible cultural programs related to music, film, art, and children’s programming. She is responsible for festivals such as Electrónica en Abril, La Terraza Magnética, Puwerty, and Brilli Brilli. Her passion and professional vocation have always been closely linked to artistic programming, particularly in the fields of film exhibition and music. After earning a degree in Audiovisual Communication in Madrid, she founded her own cultural production company to organize events across music, film, and visual arts. She has also been involved in the management, programming, and production of several film and interdisciplinary festivals, including CINEMAD, RIZOMA, and FIB Cinema, within the Benicàssim International Festival (FIB), where she was director from 2009 to 2012.
