Nova Fellowship (live) (tribute to Steve Reid & Kieran Hebden collaboration)

In 2006, Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) and the legendary New York drummer Steve Reid released the first of a series of four albums recorded together.

To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of this musical and performance collaboration, which ended with Steve’s passing in 2010, a new group is formed around the young African-American drummer Zach Morrow, known for his collaborations with poet Aja Monet. He is joined by French and American figures of an "exploratory and groovy" jazz — Tony Tixier, Rob Clearfield, Francesco Geminiani, and Hermon Mehari — for an exclusive project blending reinterpretations of the Hebden/Reid duo’s pieces with classic Spiritual Funk tracks by Steve Reid.
