Natalia Matsenko is an independent curator, writer, and lecturer. She focuses on the topics of landscape and environment transformations, human and non-human communities and networks, new media and cultural heritage preservation. Natalia’s practice is connected with relations between ecological and political action and art, and its impact on the environmental systems. She graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts with a Master's degree in Theory and History of Art. In recent years, she curated projects in Ukraine, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Mexico and Japan. Natalia cooperates with the European External Action Service (EU), international art residency Biruchiy and Mohrytsia_The Border Space land art symposium (Ukraine). Guest curator at Kunstmuseum Bochum (Germany, 2022—2023). Recently, have been in a curatorial residencies at Cité internationale des arts, Paris (2024, 2026) and Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna (2025).
