Kali Malone (live electronic)

Originally from Colorado, Kali Malone relocated to Stockholm in 2012 and now divides her time between Stockholm and Paris. She develops a music that is at once patient, rigorous, and deeply immersive, guided by a clear artistic vision. Her work is built on evolving harmonic cycles and singular tuning systems that allow latent emotional resonances to surface. By freeing herself from expectations of duration, narrative, or climax, she opens a space for listening rooted in reflection and contemplation.

Her solo works, conceived in minimalist forms, combine analog and digital synthesis with acoustic instrumentation such as pipe organ, strings, winds, and choir. Unfolding over extended and repetitive durations, these rich yet restrained harmonic textures generate a depth of listening that is both captivating and uncanny. Deliberately bare and unadorned, Kali Malone’s music takes the form of a sacred modal communion with sound, space, and the self, where everything is revealed and nothing needs to be implied.
