Jokkoo Collective presents Organic Intelligence (live av)

Organic Intelligence is a collaborative project by the Barcelona-based Jokkoo Collective. Founded in 2017, the collective explores and highlights contemporary electronic sounds and avant-garde music from the African continent and its diasporas.

With Organic Intelligence, Jokkoo invites audiences on a journey through the mangroves via a futuristic audiovisual performance conceived as an act of ecological, technological, and cultural resistance. Blending sound and visual creation, technology, and physical theatre, the performance imagines a speculative future in which the mangrove, envisioned as a neural network, reclaims global governance for the benefit of all living beings, in opposition to economic elites and destructive forms of intelligence.
