A meeting of British synth wizard James Holden and Polish clarinetist Waclaw Zimpel in an improvised duo where modular synthesizers and alto clarinet converse in real time. Their music, hypnotic, rich, and deeply emotive, blends techno, free jazz, and global influences to create a unique soundscape. Following their debut EP Long Weekend, the duo continued their exploration with the album The Universe Will Take Care of You, combining acoustic and electronic instruments with sonic experimentation. Their work reflects a joyful and intuitive convergence, inviting listeners into a hypnotic and immersive musical space.
