Emilie Maksaymous

Currently a student-researcher in music at EHESS, Emilie Maksaymous explores musical and cultural criticism through writing and radio formats. Her writings focus on contemporary Mashreq music, R&B, and soul, the links between musical listening, bodily practices, and relational experiences, as well as the processes of nationalization/heritage status of certain Mashreq genres or artists.
