Ben Sims

Ben Sims has been one of the most exciting talents on the techno scene for nearly thirty years. Remaining faithful to the genre’s funk, groove and electronic roots, he actively contributes to its evolution, notably through the creation of his Hardgroove label, which laid the foundations of the subgenre of the same name. In the studio, Ben Sims has amassed over 50 original productions, along with countless edits and remixes for key figures such as Jeff Mills, Robert Hood and Kevin Saunderson.

Through his Symbolism and Hardgroove labels, he provides strong platforms for emerging talents while also showcasing his own sonic experiments. In his DJ sets, Ben Sims commands attention both visually and musically, blending three to five decks to build a dense, energetic and relentlessly addictive sonic continuum.
