Deena Abdelwahed (dj set)

After beginning her career in Tunis, first in a jazz band and later on the local electronic scene, Deena Abdelwahed moved to France in 2016. With her early releases, she carved out a new path in which Tunisian and Arab musical traditions meet electronic music, seeking to break away from established codes and formats to proclaim the emergence of a new creative order.

Deeply political and driven by a quest for emancipation, her music challenges and reshapes the foundations of techno, bass music, and experimental sound, allowing new perspectives to emerge and reimagining Arab dance music.
