Sharouh crafts irresistibly danceable sets that blend electro, acid, and sometimes punk, where feminist discourses intertwine with oriental percussion and analog synths. A Mediterranean DJ and producer based in Madrid, she composes and remixes musical treasures from the Middle East, the Maghreb, as well as Greece and Turkey. Passionate about the musical syncretism born from exchanges between Arab, Judeo-Arab, Berber, and Mizrahi cultures, she places particular emphasis on the role of women in this heritage.
