Félix Tréguer is a researcher associated to the Center for Internet and Society of the CNRS, and a member of La Quadrature du Net, an organisation dedicated to defending human rights against the process of computerisation. His interdisciplinary research focuses on the political history of the Internet and computing, power practices such as censorship and surveillance, as well as the algorithmic governance of public space. He is the author of Contre-histoire d'Internet : du XVe siècle à nos jours (Agone, 2023) and Technopolice : La surveillance policière à l’ère de l’intelligence artificielle (Divergences, 2024).
