“Hakken for Kids” is a fun and dynamic workshop designed to introduce participants to the basics of this iconic dance style and share the energy of rave culture at a young age. This introductory session is led by industry professionals: DJ Chuimix and dancer Edgar Scassa, aka Edx.
DJ Chuimix, a free-spirited and inventive figure in the underground electronic scene, takes his audience on an intense, boundless journey fueled by the spirit of free parties. As founder of the Criminal Justice Act label, he crafts a raw, festive world where every mix becomes an experience in its own right.
2019 jumpstyle world champion Edgar Scassa, aka Edx, is also a key figure in hardcore dance styles such as hakken. A member of the (LA)HORDE collective, which helped bring these styles to the forefront of the contemporary scene, he has been the artistic director of the Ballet National de Marseille since 2019.
