Laurence Meyer est co-directrice de Weaving Liberation, une initiative axée sur le soutien et le renforcement de l’organisation de la justice numérique en Europe. Elle a cofondé et codirigé le "processus pour décoloniser le champs des droits numériques en Europe" dans le cadre de son rôle de responsable de la justice raciale et sociale au Digital Freedom Fund (DFF). Elle fait partie du magazine AssiégéEs, et est co-fondatrice du festival de films Ẅ XOOL (wou Rol) programmant des réalisateur·ices femmes et personnes non-binaires afro-descendantes en France. Laurence travaille sur les questions des droits numériques et de la notion de race dans le droit et a écrit des articles sur ces sujets pour des journaux français et allemands. Elle parle le français, l'anglais et l'allemand et est basée à Berlin.

Laurence Meyer is co-director of Weaving Liberation, an initiative focused on supporting and resourcing digital justice organising in Europe. She co-founded and co-directed the ‘process to decolonise the field of digital rights in Europe’ as part of her role as Head of Racial and Social Justice at the Digital Freedom Fund (DFF). She is part of the magazine AssiégéEs, and is co-founder of the Ẅ XOOL (wou Rol) film festival programming Afro-descendant women and non-binary filmmakers in France. Laurence works on issues of digital rights and the notion of race in law and has written articles on these subjects for French and German newspapers. She speaks French, English and German and is based in Berlin.
