Peggy Gou

Peggy Gou is one of those artists with whom Nuits sonores and its audience share a unique and intimate history. In 2017, she was invited by The Blessed Madonna to perform on the Esplanade of La Sucrière during Day 1, then in 2018, she masterfully closed Night 4 in Hall 1 at Fagor-Brandt. In 2019, she curated her own A Day With at La Sucrière. So, it was only natural to welcome her back in 2025 to the Grandes Locos to write a new chapter in this beautiful adventure! Few artists have marked recent popular culture with as much impact as Peggy Gou. From underground sensation to international star, Gou is now one of the most recognized and recognizable names in electronic music. Founder of the Gudu label, the Korean icon increasingly affirms her affinity for the warmth, joy, and freedom inherent in House and Techno. In 2023, Peggy Gou teamed up with the prestigious XL Recordings for the release of her debut album I Hear Youand the famous single "(It Goes Like) Nanana," which quickly became a global phenomenon, topping the charts in many countries. This success perfectly illustrates her ability to navigate between the underground and the mainstream, a feat few artists manage to match.
