Nuits sonores open air — Ukraine & Géorgie : Stand Together

A day to bring together the electronic scenes of these two countries, connect the struggles from Kyiv to Tbilisi, and highlight the importance of solidarity movements from West to East across the European continent.

Subjected to Russian imperialism — most notably exemplified by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2024 and the annexation of 20% of Georgia in 2008 — the Georgian and Ukrainian electronic scenes share a common desire for emancipation. The clubs and cultural structures in both countries offer spaces for gathering and mobilization through their activities and projects. When part of Georgian youth chanted "We Dance Together, We Fight Together" in 2018, as Tbilisi clubs were raided by police and temporarily shut down, that same slogan resonates anew in light of the ongoing war in Ukraine and increasingly blatant Russian interference in Georgia.
