Leaning towards the pop end of the electronic music spectrum, Tiphaine Belin (a.k.a. Tryphème) produces a hybrid sound made up of hazy melodies and percussive rhythms. Her musical universe is an airy mix of electro, synthwave and shoegaze, full of emotion and energy. In January 2017, the Sheffield-based label Central Processing Unit released her debut album Online Dating, resulting in international exposure that earned her a Boiler Room in collaboration with Warp. Always seeking to hybridise different aesthetics, Tryphème is bringing a new audio-visual live creation to Nuits Sonores.
