Saku Sahara and LAZE are two figures in the french electronic scene, each exploring distinctive musical worlds. Saku, co-founder of Unit Soeurs and a member of the duo Rétro-Futur, draws her energy from UK rave culture, blending breaks, UK hardcore, footwork, jungle, and leftfield bass in her sets. At the same time, she runs her podcast project Conversation dans un Bento, dedicated to Japanese music and VGM. LAZE, on the other hand, emerges as a versatile artist, fusing rave, breakbeat, and Japanese influences in a style she defines as "multivibe." Through immersive productions, including her EP Sotai, she invites her listeners on a sonic journey between deep bass, digital textures, and dreamlike influences.
