Nadah El Shazly (live)

Nadah El Shazly started as a musician in a punk band covering the Misfits before turning to electronic music production. Quickly establishing herself on the underground scene in Cairo, she released her debut album Ahwar, which was highly praised by critics, blending buzuq, synthesizers, electronics, and vocals—elements that have contributed to the growing success of her solo performances. A resident at the Elektronmusikstudion in Stockholm, she has participated in prestigious international festivals such as Norbergfestival, Clandestino Festival, Supersonic, and Le Guess Who?. At Nuits Sonores 2025, Nadah El Shazly will present her new album, set to be released in May 2025 on Björk's label, One Little Independent Records.
