Frigya (Imed Alibi & Khalil Epi) (live)

The music created by prolific Tunisian percussion virtuoso Imed Alibi is not just beautiful, sensual and enchanting – it is also ambitious and brave. For his Frigya project, he has teamed up with Khalil Epi, a multi-instrumentalist and composer from the Turkish alternative scene who specialises in blending electronica with diverse musical influences spanning continents and eras. Together, they produce an ultra-percussive sound, a cross between club music and traditional North African genres.
