FÖLLAKZOID is the project of Dominga, a musician, artist, and filmmaker, who has been its central figure since its inception. By integrating her queer and trans identity into both her music and live performances, she infuses a unique energy that irresistibly captivates audiences on the dancefloor. Founded in Santiago, Chile, on July 7, 2007, and now based between Berlin and New York, Föllakzoid explores hypnotic rhythms and immersive soundscapes, blending psychedelic rock, krautrock, electronic music, and techno influences. Dominga is currently experimenting with new rhythmic patterns in her live shows, heralding a sixth album set to be released in 2025 on Sacred Bones Records.

 

Artist co-programmed with Insomnia Festival, as part of the cooperative project TIMES.

TIMES (The Independent Movement for Electronic Scenes) is a cooperative project between 10 European festivals that aims to create original artistic works and promote diversity and sustainability in the music sector. TIMES is a collaboration between Nuits sonores (FR), Berlin Atonal (DE), Elevate (AT), Insomnia (NO), Le Guess Who? (NL), Reworks (GR), Semibreve (PT), Sónar (ES), Terraforma (IT), and Unsound (PL).

FÖLLAKZOID est le projet de Dominga, musicienne, artiste et réalisatrice, qui en est la figure centrale depuis sa création. En intégrant son identité queer et trans dans la musique et les performances scéniques, elle insuffle une énergie singulière, captivant irrésistiblement le public sur le dancefloor. Fondé à Santiago, au Chili, le 7 juillet 2007, et désormais basé entre Berlin et New York, Föllakzoid explore des rythmes hypnotiques et des paysages sonores immersifs, mêlant rock psychédélique, krautrock, électronique et influences techno. Dominga expérimente aujourd’hui de nouveaux schémas rythmiques en live, annonçant un sixième album attendu en 2025 sur le label Sacred Bones Records.
