Diana Berg, originally from Donetsk, Ukraine, became an activist in 2014, leading a pro-Ukrainian movement before fleeing to Mariupol due to occupation. In 2016, she founded Platform Tu, a center promoting human rights and freedoms through arts and culture, addressing social issues like gender inequality, discrimination, and totalitarian propaganda.

As head of Platform Tu and the Tu art group, Diana led grassroots initiatives for six years. After surviving the 2022 Mariupol blockade, she relocated to Kyiv, adapting her work to the realities of war. Despite losing everything, Platform Tu continues humanitarian efforts, including evacuations, fundraising, and saving museums. Diana now works with displaced youth and creates art on memory and displacement. In 2019, she was awarded a medal for her merit to the people of Ukraine by the Ukrainian Parliament.
