An author, photographer, and documentary producer for France Culture and Radio France Internationale, Arnaud Contreras focuses primarily on the intersections between culture and geopolitics, as well as music and politics, particularly in the Sahara and the Caucasus.
He has published several works combining text and photography, including Sahara Rocks! (Éditions de Juillet, 2015), Retour à Tombouctou, co-authored with Titouan Lamazou (Éditions Gallimard, 2016), and Tbilissi TchaTcha (Éditions de Juillet, 2019). This spring, a photography and poetry fanzine on the ongoing protests in Georgia will be published.
