Takkak Takkak is a bold collaboration between Shigeru Ishihara (aka Scotch Rolex) and Mo’ong Santoso Pribadi, blending deafening club rhythms, traditional Asian sounds, and screeching vocals. This transcultural project mixes precarious polyrhythms, DIY drones, and experimental instruments made from recycled objects. Together, they subvert both contemporary and traditional music to create an unconventional, energetic, and ritualistic sonic universe. Their music, influenced by Gqom, Drill, Techno, and Gamelan, stands out for its originality and freshness.

Takkak Takkak est une collaboration audacieuse entre Shigeru Ishihara (aka Scotch Rolex) et Mo’ong Santoso Pribadi, fusionnant rythmes club assourdissants, sons asiatiques traditionnels et voix stridentes. Ce projet transculturel mêle polyrhythmes précaires, drones DIY et instruments expérimentaux fabriqués à partir d’objets recyclés. Ensemble, ils détournent les musiques contemporaines et traditionnelles pour créer un univers sonore non conventionnel, énergique et rituel. Leur musique, nourrie d’influences Gqom, Drill, Techno et Gamelan, se distingue par son originalité et sa fraîcheur.
