Bad Boombox

DJ and producer since 2012, Bad Boombox embraces a fun and sarcastic approach to electronic music. Rising to prominence during lockdown through his techno memes on TikTok, which played a key role in promoting his music, he has since developed an energetic, groovy and bouncy sound ranging from 145 to 160 BPM, blending techno, house, hard house and trance. Inspired by Latin American rhythms, G-house vocals and early 2000s rave aesthetics, he moves between Booty Trance, Groovy Rave, Hardgroove, G-House, Hard House and Eurodance, as showcased in standout tracks such as Medulla, Make It Wet (feat. MC Yung Lil) and Baile Da Plataforma Edit.

Based in Berlin, where he challenges what he sees as the overly austere norms of the local scene, he is co-founder of the Hot Meal Records label and is committed to bringing color, joy and energy back to the dancefloor.
