Bogdan Raczynski

Bogdan Raczynski is one of the pioneers of electronic music, whose work has pushed the boundaries of IDM, jungle, breakcore, and braindance since the mid-1990s. He broke through with the release of Boku Mo Wakaran (1999) on Rephlex Records, the label of Richard D. James (Aphex Twin)—a bold and frenetic debut praised by critics that secured his place in the pantheon of electronic music.

Over the years, Raczynski has released influential albums combining chaotic breakbeats, playful melodies, and quirky vocal samples, while also remixing artists such as Björk and Autechre. In 2022, he released ADDLE on Planet Mu, marking a stylistic shift toward a more introspective, melodic, and meditative sound. In 2024 and 2025, he continues this evolution with the albums You're Only Young Once But You Can Be Stupid Forever and Slow Down Stupid on Disciples. Between frenetic rhythms and contemplative soundscapes, his work remains consistent: sincere, bold, and deeply personal.
