Renick Bell (live coding)

Renick Bell is a major figure in the algorave scene, praised by Mixmag and Resident Advisor for his captivating performances. An artist and programmer, he improvises percussive, bass-driven music through live coding using open-source software he develops himself. After appearances at prestigious festivals like Unsound, Berlin Atonal, and Mutek, Bell was selected by Aphex Twin for his inaugural event at The Warehouse Project. His albums, including Wary and Turning Points, have been critically acclaimed. Originally from West Texas and based in Ho Chi Minh City, he blends music creation, academic research, and teaching sound design and creative coding.
